Mark Goode has had a long & arduous career spanning more than 35 years but just how did he go from being a lowly college student to being the head honcho of his own company? He came of age in the suburbs of Wichita and went on to get all a’s in his high school classes. As such, it came as a surprise to no one when he finished at the top of his class & got a full ride to the college of his choice. While he was tempted to go with one of the ivy leagues schools, in the end, he knew KSU was the right path for him. So he began to matriculate there in the mid 80’s & this is where he first found his affinity for applied sciences. As such, he opted to major in it & went on to finish in the top ten of his class. After putting college in the rearview mirror, he knew it was time to find a job. Fortunately, his experience interning with Upjohn over the summer made it easy for him to find something he wanted. He started out in sales but was soon able to get to a role that was more suited to his skills. At one point, he even worked for a train company known as GATX but he knew there were better things in store for him.

So, he applied to DSI and, much to his surprise, he got the job. Over the years, he managed to impress the higher ups which is how he got promoted to the role of COO. Just a few years later, he moved up to the position of president, then CEO soon after. He remains proud of all that they have accomplished & looks forward to the future.
